Time is just flying by....just wanted to post some new pictures of our yard!

We went to Keukenhof Gardens this past weekend. The pictures really do not do the place justice....it was beautiful!!

  Holly made it here safely on Thursday morning. We picked her up at the airport and headed off for Trier. On the way we stopped in "Hirstein". We had lunch at a little Italian Restaurant. There was also a bar with the name Hirstein on it. We are not sure if any Hirsteins still live in the town. The man in the Italian restaurant only spoke German and Italian.  Then we went to Trier, we took a city tour. It was a really dirty town. From there we drove to Baden-Baden and spent the night at a Holiday Inn Express!  We spent 4 hours at the spa the next morning it was wonderful. Really made us miss our hot tub!  Holly and I both got massages. We then shopped around town and headed home. On Saturday we did a 10K volksmarch south of Nuremberg. We then spent a nice evening at home. Sunday we got up and drove to see the Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau Castle. Then we drove to Garmish spent the night, we got up did a little window shopping in town....wanted to buy that rocking motorcycle  but it was 150.00 Euros.     We were then going to go to a waterfall up a cable car but it was closed. Then we were going to Dachau and it is closed on Mondays....so we came home and had dinner and uploaded photos....Enjoy!

After many trips to Ikea...we are finally getting the house in shape. Although we still have at least one more trip. But it is getting there. Still have to get my pictures of Oliver up but I am waiting for some pictures of Emerson!!!  Next entry will be of our ski trip to Italy...this weekend! John's Office...trivia room
